"Community courses are the best part"
I’ve mostly been playing the community-made courses, and they’re great. There’s a lot to try, some feel realistic, and new ones keep popping up. Definitely keeps me coming back.
"I couldn’t really follow the tutorials"
I tried going through the tutorials, but I was confused most of the time. They seemed to skip over basic things, so I kept wondering if I had missed something. I ended up having to figure a lot out on my own, which isn’t great if you’re brand new to the game

"Decent golf game, but the commentary and verification get annoying"
The game is fine overall, and I actually liked the course sounds. It has a calm feel when you’re playing, which is nice. The swing timing took me a little while to get used to, but once I figured it out, it wasn’t bad.
The commentary gets old fast though, and sometimes it doesn’t even really match what just happened. Also, having to deal with repeated verification was frustrating and kind of kills the mood when you just want to play. Not a terrible game, but it definitely could be smoother in a few spots...

"Ball physics are decent, but I’m not totally sold"
The ball physics feel realistic most of the time, and it’s satisfying when everything moves the way you’d expect. That said, I’ve noticed a few weird bounces here and there that make me wonder how polished it really is

"Honestly relieved the servers held up"
I’ve played quite a bit online now, and to my relief it’s been really smooth. I was expecting more lag or random drops, but the servers have been solid for me so far. Way better than I thought they’d be.

"Pretty good overall, just had bad timing with one issue"
I’ve been using thegolfclubgame.com for a while now and it’s been solid for the most part. The updates come through often enough, and the game does feel like it’s improving little by little. I did run into an account issue, but it was probably just bad timing on my end when I needed it sorted. Support still got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. It’s not perfect, but overall I’m happy with it.

"Fun idea, but it feels kinda empty and runs rough"
I do like the concept of the game, and a few of the courses are actually fun to play. But for me, it runs badly. It freezes a lot, the frame drops make putting way more annoying than it should be, and the loading times feel longer than expected. I messed with the settings a bit, but the stutters still kept happening. It also has this weird feeling like there’s no real person there, so when the performance is rough too, it just makes the whole thing feel more frustrating than fun. Could be a good game if it ran smoother

"Way better looking than I expected"
I wasn’t expecting the game to look this good on my setup. The courses have a lot more detail than I thought they would, and the lighting really does a lot of the heavy lifting, especially during those sunset rounds.
The grass, trees, and water all look clean, and it doesn’t have that flat look some golf games get away with for some reason. Even the ball view feels smooth, which I didn’t think I’d care about as much as I did.
It’s not flawless, and I feel like they maybe undersold the visuals a bit, but it’s genuinely relaxing to play and nice to look at. For the graphics alone, I’d give it an easy 5 stars.

"Putting just feels off to me"
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but putting feels really broken. I can line up what seems like the same shot and get totally different results, which makes it feel unfair and kind of frustrating. It’s the one part of the game that keeps ruining the experience for me.

"I’m having fun with the game..."
I’m having fun with the game overall, but it definitely took me a while to get the hang of it. The swing timing, the putting, judging power, figuring out slopes, even little things like when to play it safe versus going for a risky shot all felt confusing at first. I played a few rounds where I thought I did the exact same thing twice, like the same swing, same distance, same aim, and I’d get totally different results. That can be frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to make a simple putt or land on the fairway instead of somehow ending up in a bunker or the rough. Once it starts to make sense, it’s genuinely fun, but I wouldn’t call it super beginner friendly...

"I was able to put together some decent..."
I was able to put together some decent courses with it, so overall I’d say it’s useful. A few of the tools felt a little clunky though, and I might’ve been more patient if I wasn’t working with it during a busy stretch. Not bad, just a bit frustrating at the wrong moment...

"Fun, but a little steep for me"
As someone who plays a lot of games like this, I had a decent time with it, but I was expecting a bit more for the price. It’s fun enough and I don’t regret trying it, but it feels a little light on content compared to what I usually look for.

"I’m not sure if it’s just..."
I’m not sure if it’s just the way the game is meant to feel, but the shot control seems really laggy to me. I’ll swing and it feels like the response comes a moment late, or sometimes like it just does something random. From how it plays, I kind of get the impression it’s trying to be tricky or realistic, but it mostly just ends up feeling frustrating. It makes the game more annoying than fun for me

"And it’s a good game, just a bit glitchy"
i’m having a good time with it. The game is fun and the visuals are really nice, but I’ve had a few crashes here and there along with some small bugs. Nothing that totally ruins it for me, though, I’m still enjoying it most of the time.

"Career mode just feels too shallow"
The game itself plays fine, but the career mode got boring way faster than I expected. It feels like you’re doing the same types of events over and over, and there isn’t much sense of real progress. That’s the kind of thing that feels preventable with a little more variety and better pacing. I was hoping it would give me a reason to keep coming back, but it didn’t really get there. 2 stars from me.

"I was expecting a bit more from thegolfclubgame.com..."
I was expecting a bit more from thegolfclubgame.com. Like, at first I thought maybe it would open up and have more variety, but after a while it just felt like I was doing the same kind of thing again and again. And yeah, maybe some people are into that, but I started getting bored quickly. There just wasn’t enough new stuff to make me want to keep checking back. I don’t know, it feels kind of limited overall. Not really something I’d spend more time on.

"Controls are surprisingly not a nightmare"
The controls are actually easy to use, which is always a nice plot twist. No messing around, no fighting the buttons, just simple and straightforward.

"Pretty solid customization, honestly"
I’ve been messing around with the player options and yeah, they’re good. I like that you can change up your golfer quite a bit, and the clothes/look options feel decent overall. Some things are a little harder to find than they probably need to be, but once you figure it out, the customization is actually fun.

"Matchmaking could be way better"
so... I actually do enjoy the game itself, but the matchmaking on thegolfclubgame.com has been frustrating.
Most of the time I end up with people who are either way better than me or clearly much newer, so the matches don’t feel all that fun or balanced. I’ve also sat in lobbies for ages just for someone to quit early, which kind of kills the whole thing.
It’s not a terrible experience overall, but it definitely gets annoying after a while. If they made the matchmaking more skill-based, I think the game would be a lot more enjoyable.

"Fun idea, but multiplayer can be a headache"
I really do like what the game is trying to do, and when a match actually gets going, there’s some fun to be had. The problem is getting there can take a while, and I’ve had more than a few rounds where someone freezes, disconnects, or the whole thing just kind of falls apart.
Some nights it works well enough, other nights I end up wondering why I bothered waiting around. It’s not a terrible game by any means, but the multiplayer definitely feels like something you have to be in the mood to put up with.
